Raksha Mantri applauds Indian Navy calls it synonym with credibility
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh praised the Indian Navy for being a credible force n the Indian-Pacific region. The Indian Navy has been continuously showcasing it's capabilities in the vast blue waters by undertaking one after the other challenge and improving its ability.
1st Naval Commanders Conference
The Defence Minister attended the 1st Naval Commanders Conference on March 5th, Tuesday inaugurating the 3 day conference. He was on board INS Vikramaditya and was able to witness the operation of the ship and the operation of the twin-carrier.
Praising the Indian Navy, the Raksha Mantri said that Indian navy has become synonym with credibility in the Indian Ocean. He said that Indian Navy has always been vigilante and brave. The Raksha Mantri said "If India's reputation has increased in the Indian Ocean Region and wider Indo-Pacific, it is due to the bravery and promptness of our Navy. It has become synonymous with credibility in the Indo-Pacific region. The Navy is a reflection of India's growing stature on the global canvas."
The conference is held to create a platform for the Naval commanders to discuss strategic, operational, and administrative matters concerning maritime security of the country.
The Commanders together will discuss n the future role and strategy of the Navy.
Raksha Mantri praises Navy for Anti-Piracy operation
He also praised the Indian Navy for being a multidimensional forces carrying out various kinds of tasks. The Indian has played a major part in maintaining peace and harmony in the Indian Ocean region and contributed to the increased security of the region.
Recently the Indian Navy also undertook operations against piracy and drug smuggling. The force has been working to enhance security of Indo-pacific line with Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR). The efforts of Indian Navy are not just been praised in India but world over.

Tri-service synergy
The minister also emphasised the increased role of synergy between the tri-services of the country as modern warfare is constantly changing, evolving with new kinds of problems and dangers coming up. The Minister also talked about the increased use of drone in the recent times and how the forces are using the technology.
Talking about the increased capabilities and capacities of the force, the Raksha Mantri assured the all possible support from the union government to deal with any issue.
The Chief of Defence Staff, along with the Chiefs of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force are also scheduled to join the conference as an effort to increase the synergy between the tri-services.
