During the encounter, the joint team of police and BSF successfully neutralized the three Naxalites, recovering two weapons from the site. The identities of the deceased Naxals are yet to be established, as confirmed by Kanker SP Indira Kalyan Elesela.
Continued Crackdown on Naxals in Chhattisgarh
This recent encounter follows another incident in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district where a Naxal was killed during an exchange of fire between District Reserve Guards (DRG) and the outlaws in the Burkalanka jungle area on Saturday.
