Terrorist cut off electricity, then fired on workers eating food, seven killed and five injured in Ganderbal
JK Terror Attack: Number of people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir has increased to seven. Apart from migrant workers of the infrastructure company, a Kashmiri doctor is also among the dead.
According to reports terrorists attacked a camp of workers near Sonamarg Health Resort on the Srinagar - Leh National Highway on Sunday evening. Five workers of the infrastructure company have also been injured in this attack.

Terrorists attacked a camp of workers
Meanwhile workers, who killed in this terrorist attack worked in a tunnel construction company. The victims of the terrorists' bullets are residents of Bihar, MP, Jammu and Kashmir.
Area where the terrorists have targeted the workers has seen less presence of terrorists in the last decade. Police sources said that all the workers who were targeted by the terrorists were working for the Z Morh Tunnel on the Srinagar - Sonmarg road. According to sources, the migrant workers were eating food when this attack took place.
First major terrorist attack on workers
In the meanwhile Valley Police officials said that the injured workers told that two people came there and after cutting off the electricity, they started firing at the camp.

Among those who lost their lives are a safety manager, a mechanical manager and a doctor. The doctor was a resident of Budgam in Central Kashmir. Of the workers injured in the attack, two are from Kashmir, two from Jammu and one from Bihar.
Search operation going on
The security forces are on high alert and have cordoned off the entire area around the spot. The security forces have also started a search operation to catch the terrorists. It is being told that the terrorists opened fire in the evening, after which they fled.
The deceased workers were working on the tunnel construction project. During this time, the terrorists targeted them with bullets.
1 person from Bihar was killed a few days ago
Two days ago also terrorists shot dead a Bihar laborer in Shopian. Last Friday, police recovered the body of a laborer who had come from Bihar to work in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
CM Omar Abdullah condemned the attack
CM Omar Abdullah's statement has come out regarding this terrorist attack. He said that there is very sad news of a cowardly and cowardly attack on non-local laborers in Gagangir of CM Sonmarg area.

However LG Manoj Sinha also tweeted on this attack, in which the LG said that I strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on civilians in Gagangir. I assure the people that those behind this heinous act will not be spared. We have given complete freedom to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army.
