Delhi-NCR, AQI of many areas crossed 450 even today, check air quality

According to CPCB data, average AQI of Delhi was recorded 379 today.  Along with this, the AQI of many places is still above 400.

Delhi Pollution: Layer of smog is being seen in many areas of Delhi. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's AQI remains in the 'very poor' category in many areas. The air quality i.e. Air Quality Index (AQI) in many areas of NCR including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad is at a worrying level.

Layer of smog is seen in many areas

At 8.30 am, Anand Vihar's AQI was 405, Bawana's 418, Dwarka Sector 8's 401, Nehru Nagar (Lajpat)'s 411. People are facing many health problems due to pollution. At the same time, a layer of smog was seen in many parts of the capital.

Delhi's average AQI 379

Delhi's average AQI at 7 am was 379. For the last 48 hours, AQI has been continuously in the severe and critical category. The wind speed is still slow, and the temperature is low, and the humidity is also high and due to this a blanket of smog is visible all around. People may develop respiratory diseases due to being exposed to such air for a long time. People suffering from lung and heart diseases are more affected. Air quality measurement

What is GRAP?

The full form of GRAP is Graded Response Action Plan. This is a government scheme, which has been made against the increasing pollution.  Actually, it has many phases and these phases also increase with increasing pollution. As the phases increase, the restrictions in Delhi also increase.
