The quality of the environment in and around Delhi has become a concern these days, which is why after Bangladesh, the team of Sri Lanka has also canceled their practice sessions in Delhi.

The 38th match of the World Cup 2023 between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is scheduled to be played on November 6 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Ahead of this important match, the teams of both the countries have canceled their training sessions which is not good news for the country.

Sri Lanka canceled their training sessions

According to media reports, the Sri Lankan team was supposed to train at the stadium from 2 pm on Saturday for the next match, but it has now been canceled. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has installed water sprinklers on trucks to control pollution Outside the Arun Jaitley Stadium. 

Air quality in the capital and surrounding areas in the 'severe' category

Sri Lankan officials held a virtual meeting in the capital Delhi regarding the health protection of their players. Meanwhile, he raised the issue of pollution and objected to playing in the capital Delhi. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said on Saturday that the air quality in the capital and surrounding areas was in the 'severe' category. AQI recorded 448 in Anand Vihar, 421 in Jahangirpuri, 435 in Dwarka Sector-8 and 421 in IGI Airport (T3).

Amidst all this, there are rumors that the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka may be shifted to another venue, but there is no confirmation yet.
