Apple's Electric Car Project, Project Titan, Hits a Speed Bump
Apple's big project to make electric cars, called Project Titan, has hit a surprise stop. Even though Apple hasn't said it officially, the news says they spent more than $10 billion on it.
Project Background
Project Titan started over ten years ago to make cars that run on electricity, like Tesla's cars. People even thought Apple might buy Tesla! At first, they wanted to make self-driving cars, but then they went back to making electric cars. They hired smart people from big companies like Porsche and NASA to help but still faced many problems.
Challenges Faced
About 2,000 people were working on Project Titan when Apple decided to stop making cars. One big reason might be that not many people want electric cars right now.

Other big companies like Tesla, Renault, and Volkswagen are making cheaper electric cars. Apple's car would have been really expensive, maybe more than $100,000.
