India's GDP growing at the fastest rates 2023

According to national statistical office of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme implementation, the Gross domestic Product(GDP) growth rate of India in the  first quarter (Q1) fiscal year 2023 is 7.8per cent.

These figures were released on Thursday by the government of India. it shows that India is growing at fastest pace in this financial year.

The growth rate of GDP in the the last quarter of 2022-2023 was 6.1 % which means that the growth is 1.8% more than that of last quarter of fiscal year 2022

The economy was driven by service sector and greater capital expenditure. The resulted GDP growth rate is as expected according to economists .

According to NSO the growth rate of agriculture sector was 3.5% which is higher than previous years quarter 1 of  2.4%.
