Mahadev Betting App:  In a major breakthrough, the Indian agencies have got a big success in the Mahadev Betting App case. According to sources, the mastermind and company owner Saurabh Chandrakar has been detained by Interpol in Dubai. However, the process of bringing him back to India has also started now.

Meanwhile betting app owner Saurabh Chandrakar has been detained by Interpol, after which the process of bringing him back to India has started. According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team can bring Mahadev App owner Saurabh Chandrakar to India within a week.

Saurabh Chandrakar is the mastermind of Mahadev App, also has a connection with D Company.  While many cases have been registered against Mahadev App in many states of the country. Even though complaint has also been lodged with the ED regarding the app. Let us tell you that earlier in December 2023, Saurabh Chandrakar was also put under 'house arrest' after being detained in Dubai.

Center bans Mahadev betting app

All though central government have ordered the blocking of 22 apps and websites with illegal betting, including the Mahadev betting app. The orders were issued under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act following ED recommendations. The Mahadev online betting app case came into the limelight when the ED claimed to have recorded the email statement of a 'cash courier', which revealed that the then Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had allegedly taken Rs 508 crore from the app promoters based in the UAE. However, Baghel had rejected this.

Though a case was registered against more than 30 people including Saurabh Chandrakar, Ravi Uppal in Matunga police station, which was later handed over to Mumbai crime branch, while the case was registered against more than 30 people to investigate it. Actually, in this case, a social worker had filed a petition in the lower court. In this, action was demanded against the app and its promoters. Hearing this, the court had asked Matunga police to register a case. Police said that an FIR was registered against Saurabh, Ravi etc. According to the FIR, the accused have cheated people of about 15 thousand crores.

It is being told that Interpol has informed the CBI, let us tell you that ED had issued a red corner notice in this case.
