ED raid in Jharkhand, case is related to illegal infiltration of Bangladeshis, raids in West Bengal too
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at 17 places in West Bengal and Jharkhand. While the case is related to illegal infiltration of Bangladeshis in Jharkhand. In fact, many syndicates are active in West Bengal and Jharkhand, the states bordering Bangladesh, which illegally cross the border with Bangladeshis.
On Tuesday ED raided more than a dozen places in Jharkhand and West Bengal as part of the ongoing investigation into money laundering related to suspected Bangladeshi infiltration. These raids are taking place a day before voting in Jharkhand.
Search operations are being conducted by different teams of ED under the Money Laundering Prevention Act. ED is investigating several people and organizations allegedly involved in illegal financial activities across the border areas.
ED raid a day before the voting
Although ED raids began early Tuesday morning, in which more links and financial records are expected to be exposed. At the same time, ED has also taken over the Bangladeshi infiltration case registered in Ranchi. A case related to alleged Bangladeshi infiltration was registered at Bariatu police station in Ranchi, Jharkhand on June 6 this year. Now ED has taken over this case. ED is expected to further investigate the financial and logistics network related to this case.
How did illegal Bangladeshis become a threat for India?
According to inputs, many syndicates are active in West Bengal and Jharkhand, the states bordering Bangladesh, which help Bangladeshis cross the border illegally. These agents make fake documents and Aadhaar cards of these Bangladeshis, for which money is taken from these infiltrators. This action is being carried out under ED's money laundering to end this syndicate.
Infiltrators are threat to country’s internal security
In the meanwhile, as by the intelligence agencies, these infiltrators are becoming a threat to country’s internal security. These Bangladeshis get involved in illegal activities while living in India. Recently, NIA's investigation revealed that these illegal Bangladeshi terrorists were conspiring to carry out terrorist attacks in India in collaboration with Al Qaeda.
These terrorist organizations were also doing funding for Al Qaeda. On Monday, NIA raided nine states of the country and took action against the network of Bangladeshis and Al Qaeda. West Bengal and Bihar were also included in this raid.
ED in Jharkhand regarding Bangladeshi infiltration
Issue of Bangladeshi infiltration is very prevalent in the entire state regarding the Jharkhand assembly elections. BJP is constantly cornering the ruling party on this issue. At the same time, ED has intensified its investigation in this matter.

According to the information, the capital ED has raided about half a dozen places in Ranchi, including Skyline Hotel, Bali Resort, Mount View Resort and is collecting evidence. Regarding Bangladeshi infiltration, ED is conducting a major operation at a total of 17 places in Ranchi, Pakur of Jharkhand, 24 Parganas of West Bengal and other areas. During this, the ED team is busy investigating the money trail of infiltration.
Wrong work done in the name of beauty parlor
Let us tell you, Ranchi Police had arrested three Bangladeshi girls from Bariatu area in June this year. During interrogation of the arrested girls, it was revealed that these people had crossed the fencing from Bangladesh and came to West Bengal, from where their Aadhar card was also made after staying in Kolkata for a few days.
After this, these people were sent to Ranchi in the name of getting work in a beauty parlor. However, here they were pushed into immoral prostitution. After this, Ranchi Police took major action and arrested him.
