Sensex rose 387 points in early trade today
BSE Sensex rose 386.95 points to 80,888.94 in early trade. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty was trading at 24,460.75 points with a gain of 114.05 points.
Local stock markets opened with gains on Monday amid continued inflow of foreign funds, sharp fall in crude oil prices and strong trend in US markets.
Even the listed companies Stock Market, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Power Grid, HCL Tech, Titan and Tata Motors were in profit.
Kotak Mahindra Bank's stock fell by about six percent. While Kotak bank consolidated net profit in the March quarter fell by 7.57 percent to Rs 4,933 crore.

Due to this, the share of State Bank of India fell by two percent in early trade. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 2,769.81 crore on Friday.
Summary
Although the Sensex listed companies, shares of State Bank of India, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC and Nestle were in loss. The consolidated net profit of State Bank of India has declined by 8.34 percent in the January-March.
