Stock Market Today: The Indian stock market started on a negative note on Friday, February 27, the last trading day of the week. Major benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50, opened in the red.
The 30-share BSE Sensex index slipped 28.13 points, or 0.03 percent. The Sensex opened the day at 82,220.48. The NSE Nifty 50 also declined. The Nifty 50 opened at 25,459.85, down 36.70 points, or 0.14 percent.
The Sensex was trading at 81,994, down 253 points. The Nifty 50 slipped 83 points and was trading at 25,412.
