The free online ballot opened on July 22, 2025 at 1:30 PM IST and will close exactly at 1:30 PM IST on July 24, 2025. Only 3,000 spots are up for grabs in this round, and most were already filled in the earlier February 2025 ballot. So, don’t miss this last chance!
Who Can Apply? Eligibility at a Glance
To apply, you must meet the following conditions:
- Age: 18 to 30 years old
- Nationality: Indian citizen
- Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Savings: At least £2,530 (INR 2,94,878) in personal savings
- You must enter the ballot and be selected to apply for the visa.
Steps to Apply if You’re Selected
If your name comes up in the ballot:
- Wait for an invitation to apply via email.
- Gather all necessary documents.
- Submit your online visa application within 90 days.
- Pay the visa fee of £319 (INR 37,187) and the immigration health surcharge of £1,552 (INR 1,80,902).
- Provide biometric details like fingerprints, photo, and passport copy.
- Expect to receive your final result within 2 weeks after the ballot closes.
What Can You Do with This Visa?

- Study certain courses (some may need ATAS certificate)

- No employees
- A low-cost setup (equipment under £5,000)

Restrictions You Should Know
There are a few things this visa does not allow:

Good news—turning 31 after getting the visa won’t disqualify you. You can still stay in the UK legally for the full two years, as long as your visa is valid.
