AI will transform the country's education, UPI-like platform will be created
India's education system is now entering a new era with artificial intelligence. The Bharat Bodhan AI stack, developed on the lines of UPI, will provide students with the facility to study through their mobile phones in their preferred language and in the voice of their chosen teacher.
The India’s education system is now entering a new era of technology. Just as UPI made digital payments easy, artificial intelligence (AI) is preparing to make education accessible to every student. The government is working on a national digital platform where studies will be available through audio and video on mobile phones. Students will be able to study in their preferred language and in the voice of their chosen teacher. This initiative can completely change the way of studying from school to higher education and competitive exams.
Education platform to be built on the lines of UPI
The government is developing a national digital education platform called Bharat Bodhan AI Stack. This platform will work like UPI, on which different education apps can be integrated. Just as BHIM, PhonePe, and Google Pay run on UPI, similarly, education-related apps will work on the Bharat Bodhan AI Stack. Through this, students will be able to easily study any topic of any subject on their mobile phones.
Study in your own language and with your favorite teacher
The biggest feature of this platform will be its customized facility. The AI will prepare lectures according to the questions asked by the student. The student can choose either audio or video. Even if the language is changed, the teacher's voice, tone, and teaching style will remain the same. This platform will be completely interactive, allowing students to ask questions and get answers instantly.
Formal launch on February 12th
The Bodhan AI initiative will be formally launched on February 12th at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi to promote the institutional use of AI. During this event, selected AI solutions will be showcased at the Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave. The platform will be implemented across the country in a phased manner, in line with the National Education Policy 2020.
Centre of Excellence at IIT Madras
The Ministry of Education has established a Centre of Excellence at IIT Madras, named the IIT Madras Bodhan AI Foundation. This center will develop AI solutions for school education, higher education, skill development, and research.
