HPBOSE LDR Exam 2026: 1,437 Applications Approved, 97 Rejected
HPBOSE rejects 97 LDR exam 2026 applications over non payment of fee; exam on February 22.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has rejected 97 applications for the Limited Direct Recruitment exam 2026 due to non payment of the prescribed examination fee. The LDR exam will be conducted on February 22, 2026.
The board had invited online applications from December 23 to January 15. A total of 1,534 candidates applied for the examination. After scrutiny, 1,437 applications were found valid. The remaining 97 were rejected for not paying the examination fee of Rs 3,000.
The recruitment is meant for School Management Committee teachers working under the Himachal Pradesh Education Department. Applicants were required to be appointed under the SMC policy dated July 17, 2012 and must have completed at least five years of continuous service. Submission of the prescribed fee was mandatory.
Through this process, 1,427 LDR posts will be filled through a written examination.

The board has stated that applications submitted without the required fee will not be accepted. Candidates whose names appear in the rejected list will not be allowed to appear in the examination on February 22.
