ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate 2026 results declared; here's how to check them

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results for the CA Intermediate and CA Foundation exams. Candidates who took the exam can check their results by visiting the official websites icai.org and icai.nic.in.

The Institute has also released the All India Merit List and the overall passing percentage for the session. These exams were conducted on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.

Passing Marks

To pass the CA Foundation exam 2026, candidates must achieve the passing marks set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Students must score at least 40 marks in each subject and a minimum of 50 percent overall in all four papers. Only those candidates who achieve the required marks in each subject and overall will be considered successful in the CA Foundation exam. It should be noted that the ICAI previously declared the CA Final January 2026 results on March 1, 2026. Diksha Goyal from Karnal secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 by scoring 486 out of 600.

Who topped?

In the CA Intermediate exam held in January 2026, many students performed exceptionally well, achieving high scores in every subject. Kanhaiya Lal from Ellenabad secured All India Rank 1 by scoring 508 out of 600 (84.67%). Fatima Sheja K secured second place, scoring 504 marks (84%). Meanwhile, Vanya Bansal of Faridabad came in third, scoring 498 out of 600 (83%).

• To check results, first visit the official website icai.org.

• Candidates should then log in using their credentials. Enter their roll number to check their scorecard.

Steps to Download Scorecard

• To download the scorecard, visit the official website icai.nic.in.

• Then, on the website's homepage, click on the link for the course whose result they want to check.

• Candidates should then enter their login credentials and submit. Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
