Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board Revises Rules: Now Only Three Exams to be Held Annually
This comes as welcome news for young aspirants preparing for government jobs. The Employee Selection Board (ESB) is set to streamline and organize its recruitment process.
Significant relief is in store for young individuals aspiring to secure government jobs. The Employee Selection Board (ESB) is now taking concrete steps to make the recruitment process both simpler and more systematic. Under the newly proposed rules, instead of conducting numerous disparate examinations throughout the year, the Board will now conduct a limited and organized series of examinations. This will save candidates time, money, and effort—all three.
Under the new regulations, a limited number of examinations will be conducted throughout the year, thereby saving the candidates' time, money, and effort.
Furthermore, the recruitment process is expected to become both faster and more transparent. Once it receives Cabinet approval, this new system can be implemented, directly benefiting hundreds of thousands of candidates.
Plans to Conduct Only Three Exams Per Year
According to the ESB's new recruitment rules, only three main examinations will now be conducted within a single calendar year. These will include General, Technical, and Teacher Eligibility examinations. Whereas candidates previously had to appear for multiple exams for various positions, this process will now be streamlined.
Major Benefits for Candidates
Under this new system, candidates will no longer need to appear for five or six examinations annually. Through just three examinations, they will be able to qualify for various positions. This will also reduce the burden of examination fees and allow for better focus on preparation.
How the General Examination Will Be Conducted
The General Examination will be divided into four sections. Question papers will be designed specifically according to the different positions and pay scales. This will enable candidates to appear for an examination level that aligns with their specific qualifications.
Distinct Pattern for Technical Examinations
Technical examinations will cover fields such as Engineering, Agriculture, and other specialized domains. At the time of application, candidates will specify their area of expertise and will receive a question paper tailored to that specialization. Additionally, they will be required to appear for the General Examination as well—meaning they will have to take a total of two papers.
New Rules for Teacher Recruitment
Candidates aspiring to become teachers will also be required to appear for two examinations: one General Examination and one Teacher Eligibility Test. This will make the selection process more transparent and organized.
Clerical and Stenography Positions
Under the new system, the responsibility for assigning postings to candidates selected for clerical and stenographer positions will rest with the General Administration Department (GAD). This means that the management of these positions will be handled by a single department, thereby making the entire process even smoother.
