Election in Valley,1st phase of voting is tomorrow while polling parties leave for polling stations
J&k Assembly Election: The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections are going to be held after 10 years. While Voting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday for the first phase of the three-phase polling. All though today Polling parties, left for polling stations for voting.
First phase of election will held tomorrow
Though in the first phase of election 219 candidates are in the fray for 24 seats. Among them, the maximum number of candidates are in the fray for the Pampore assembly seat. A total of 14 candidates are trying their luck on this seat. At the same time, the least number of candidates are from the Srigufwara-Bijbehara assembly constituency. Where there is a contest between only three candidates. At the same time, 9 candidates are in the fray in Inderwal of Kishtwar, seven in Kishtwar and six in Paddar-Nagseni. At the same time, 10 candidates are trying their luck in Bhaderwah in Doda.

Voting in 16 constituencies
In the first phase, voting will be held in a total of 16 constituencies in Kashmir division. These include Pampore, Tral, Pulwama, Rajpora, Jainpora, Shopian, DH Pora, Kulgam, Devsar, Dooru, Kokernag (ST), Anantnag West, Anantnag, Srigufwara-Bijbehara, Shangas-Anantnag East and Pahalgam. While in Jammu division, voting will be held tomorrow on 8 seats. Voting will be held in Inderwal, Kishtwar, Paddar-Nagseni, Bhaderwah, Doda, Doda West, Ramban and Banihal.
Security deployed with polling parties
While large number of security forces were seen with the polling parties. In the first phase, voting will be held for a total of 24 assembly seats in 7 districts. For which a total of 219 candidates are in the fray.

23 lakh voters will cast their votes in the first phase
However the number of registered voters are 23,27,580 on the 24 seats in Jammu and Kashmir for which voting will be held in the first phase, which includes 11,76,462 men and 11,51,058 women. While there are also 60 third-gender voters. Among these voters, there are a total of 5.66 lakh voters in the age group of 18 to 29 years. While 1,23,960 voters in the age group of 18 to 19 years will cast their votes for the first time. Among the voters who will cast their votes for the first time, a total of 10,261 men and 9,329 women are included. While 28,309 disabled voters will also cast their votes.
