According to state filings, Musk last month registered a firm named X.AI Corp. incorporated in Nevada. The firm has listed Musk as the sole director and Jared Birchel, managing director of Musk’s family office, as secretary. It was unclear whether the firm was related to Musk’s alleged AI start-up efforts. Musk did not respond to a Reuters request for comment.
