Elon Musk took to X (former Twitter) to say that Starlink satellite services would support internet services for the internationally recognsied aid. He said "Starlink will support connectivity to internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza. "

Israel's furious reaction

Israel was not happy with this intent and thus gave a harsh response to Elon Musk.

Shlomo Karhi, the Communication Minister of Israel, expressed his disappointment with Elon Musk's intent. He said that Israel will cut of contact with Starlink if it ever happens.

According to Israel, internet provided by Starlink has the potential to be misused by Hamas and hence, Israel does not want it to happen.

The minister said “HAMAS will use it for terrorist activities. There is no doubt about it, we know it, and Musk knows it. HAMAS is ISIS. Perhaps Musk would be willing to condition it with the release of our abducted babies, sons, daughters, elderly people. All of them!” He further said  that till the time it happens, Israel will cut all ties with Starlink.
