A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Episode 5 will stream in India on February 16 at 8.30 am IST on Jio Hotstar.
Episode 5 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere in India on February 16, 2026 at 8.30 am IST. The episode will stream simultaneously with its US broadcast on JioHotstar. The season is part of the six-episode first series.
The show is a prequel to Game of Thrones. It is adapted from Tales of Dunk and Egg by George R. R. Martin and is set nearly a century before the events of Game of Thrones. In this period, House Targaryen still sits on the Iron Throne, though dragons are absent. New episodes air weekly on HBO and stream on HBO Max. The season finale is scheduled for February 22.
Episode 4 ended with Ser Duncan the Tall preparing for a Trial of Seven against Prince Aerion Targaryen. The ritual pairs the accused with six allies to face the accuser and his six champions, with the judgment left to the Seven Gods. Dunk faces the trial after striking Aerion for injuring Tanselle, a puppeteer he cares for.
Dunk struggles to find enough allies. The situation shifts when Prince Baelor Targaryen steps forward to fight on Dunk’s side. The development sets up a pivotal penultimate episode.
The series stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg. Finn Bennett plays the volatile Prince Aerion Targaryen, and Bertie Carvel portrays Baelor Targaryen. The ensemble also includes Daniel Ings, Sam Spruell and others.
Co-creator and showrunner Ira Parker said the story takes place in a transitional period between the height of Targaryen power and their eventual decline. This era does not feature dragons, focusing instead on political tension, personal honour and the fragile state of the dynasty.
With Episode 5 scheduled to deliver a decisive confrontation, viewers can expect high drama, emotional twists and the battle that could reshape central characters’ fates.
