Allegations of Financial Fraud
According to reports, the producers approached Aarushi Nishank, asking her to invest Rs 5 crore in the movie. In return, they promised her an important role and a 20% share in the film’s profits, which they estimated to be over Rs 15 crore.
To secure the deal, the producers allegedly assured Aarushi that she could get a full refund with 15% interest if she was unhappy with the role. An MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed on October 9, 2024, and she transferred Rs 2 crore the next day. By November 19, 2024, she had invested a total of Rs 4 crore.
Dropped from the Film Without Notice
Aarushi claimed that despite waiting for days, the producers failed to finalize her role in the film. Later, she was reportedly removed from the project without any prior notice. When she asked for a refund, they allegedly refused and informed her that another actress had replaced her.
Threats and Harassment Allegations
Aarushi Nishank also alleged that when she insisted on getting her money back, the producers threatened her. She claimed that they warned her of legal action, including a defamation lawsuit, and even issued death threats to silence her.
Claims of Discrimination and Abuse
Apart from financial fraud, Aarushi also accused the producers of caste-based discrimination, stating that they mocked her Garhwali background and made derogatory comments about her appearance. She described the experience as deeply humiliating.
Legal Action Taken
Aarushi Nishank has officially filed a complaint against Mansi and Varun Bagla, accusing them of fraud, criminal conspiracy, issuing threats, and violations under the IT Act. The producers have yet to respond to these serious allegations.
