Abhimanyu Singh joins the star-studded cast of 'Lahore 1947'

In a recent announcement on Friday, the makers of the upcoming period film "Lahore 1947" revealed that versatile actor Abhimanyu Singh has joined the cast. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and features leading stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.

Director Rajkumar Santoshi expressed his enthusiasm for the casting decision, stating, "We have roped in Abhimanyu Singh, who will be seen playing a strong and lead role as the antagonist in 'Lahore 1947.' His intensity, his voice, and his conviction are truly unbeatable. He is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors we have in our industry."

Santoshi acknowledged the traditional names that come to mind when thinking of a villain's character, citing Amrish Puri and Danny Denzongpa. However, he emphasized the importance of looking forward and recognizing new talents. Abhimanyu Singh's inclusion in the cast adds a fresh perspective to the antagonist role, promising a compelling performance.
