Actor–producer Adinath Kothare’s upcoming web series Detective Dhananjay begins with a grand mahurat ceremony
While being part of several major Bollywood projects, Adinath Kothare continues to make headlines. On one hand, his production house Kothare Vision’s TV show Nashibwan is running successfully, and on the other, he is now gearing up for a brand-new project. A few days ago, Adinath surprised fans by announcing this new venture as a special gift. It was also revealed that he will soon be seen in a web series, and its promo has already been released. Adinath shared on social media that the mahurat for this much-talked-about web series has now been completed.
Under the banner of ZEE5 Marathi Originals, Detective Dhananjay will soon premiere, featuring Adinath in the role of a detective. Interestingly, he will also be donning the hats of both actor and producer for this project.
The mahurat of Detective Dhananjay took place in Mumbai, marking the official start of filming. The web series will be streaming soon on ZEE5.
Two major Marathi production houses have come together to produce this ambitious project — Shrirang Godbole’s Indian Magic Eye and Adinath Kothare’s Storytellers Nook Pvt. Ltd. The screenplay for the series has been written by Girish Joshi, while Shrirang Godbole will serve as both producer and director.
Speaking for the first time about Detective Dhananjay, Adinath shared " I always strive to bring unique and diverse projects to the audience. Their constant love inspires me to keep creating something new. With Detective Dhananjay, we’re set to bring something truly special! The character of Dhananjay, created by novelist Baburao Arnalkar, will come alive through this web show. I’m thrilled to play both the roles of actor and producer for this project. We’re all excited to offer something different and striking to the OTT space.”
As an actor, Adinath continues to deliver varied and quality content while also excelling as a producer. In the coming months, he is set to be part of several major Bollywood projects, including Ramayana and Gandhi.
