Alia Bhatt cheers for BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor for her Telugu Film Debut 'MaayaOne'

Alia Bhatt extends a heartfelt shoutout to her best friend and fellow actor, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, who is gearing up for her debut in Telugu cinema with CV Kumar's much-anticipated directorial venture, 'MaayaOne,' starring opposite Sundeep Kishan.

Taking to her Instagram story, Alia shared the film's poster featuring Akansha, captioning it with, "Who dat gurl @akansharanjankapoor."

The makers of 'MaayaOne' officially announced this exciting development on Saturday, sharing the news with fans on Instagram. The post from production house AK Entertainments read, "ProjectZ/Maayavan Sequel Titled #MaayaOne @akansharanjankapoor onboard for the highly anticipated project opposite Talented Hero @sundeepkishan. A @icvkumar Directorial @MusicSanthosh musical."

Fans and followers flooded the comment section with expressions of excitement and good wishes for the project.

CV Kumar directs the film, marking his second collaboration with Sundeep Kishan after the successful ProjectZ/Maayavan. Intriguingly, 'MaayaOne' is a Sci-Fi action thriller set in the ProjectZ/Maayavan world, serving as a sequel to the aforementioned film.

Adventures International Pvt Ltd presents this high-budget movie produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara, with Kishore Garikipati (GK) serving as the executive producer.

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, known for her debut in Dharma Productions' OTT film 'Guilty' and subsequent roles in acclaimed series like 'Ray' and 'Monica O My Darling,' steps into the spotlight as the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan in 'MaayaOne,' marking her feature film debut.

The film unfolds the tale of a common man's clash with a supervillain.

Meanwhile, on the horizon for Alia Bhatt is her upcoming film 'Jigra,' directed by Vasan Bala, slated to hit theaters on September 27, 2024. Additionally, she is set to feature in Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa,' alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
