Amruta Khanvilkar makes her debut on the theatrical stage with the play “Lagna Panchami”
Amruta Khanvilkar is an actress who has always mesmerised audiences with her diverse body of work. Over the years, she has entertained viewers through films, television, and OTT platforms. But as the year draws to an end, Amruta is all set to surprise her fans with something special she will soon be seen performing in a brand-new stage play.

Amruta will be making her theatre debut with the play “Lagna Panchami”, which is expected to reach audiences very soon. A few days ago, on her birthday, Amruta had shared a post on social media saying that she would be bringing a project very close to her heart in the upcoming year and now, she is set to embrace the theatre stage through this new play.
Speaking about this new journey, Amruta says "The biggest reason I said ‘yes’ to the play Lagna Panchami is the team I’m working with they are extremely special to me. To get an opportunity to work with two powerful and sincere personalities like the legendary writer Madhugandha and the visionary director Nipun, who constantly proves something new, feels like a priceless gift. I have always received the audience’s energy and love through my dance performances and films, but to keep a story alive and live it every day on stage is a different joy altogether. I am very excited to see how audiences will receive me through this play. What I’m doing now gives me immense creative satisfaction, and it has all become possible because of this play. Starting a new year with such an incredible project feels like a huge blessing.”
Amruta has experienced the thrill of the stage many times through dance performances, but the daily interaction with the audience that comes through theatre is something she eagerly looks forward to.
As she steps onto a professional stage for the first time, it is clear that Amruta is extremely excited about this play.
Written by renowned writer Madhugandha Kulkarni and directed by the brilliant Nipun Dharmadhikari, Lagn Panchami will showcase a new shade of Amruta Khanvilkar as she gets ready to entertain audiences in the new year through this theatrical venture.
