AKFCN predominately headed by Kapoor’s younger daughter Rhea, has always been associated with women-centric cinema since its inception. From Aisha, the official adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, to films like Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Khoobsurat, and Veere Di Wedding, the production house has consistently supported and made films that focus on female protagonists and their stories.

Netizens have taken to various social platforms, including Twitter to share their reviews and thoughts on the film's release. Anil Kapoor's AKFCN has gained recognition for its commitment to showcasing distinctive narratives, often centered on women, and with "Thank You For Coming," Kapoor has proved its mettle once again.

The fact that “Thank You For Coming” was been selected to premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a resounding validation of the team’s relentless hard work. The legacy of Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor as producers continues to be one of courageous choices, empowered narratives, and a celebration of the timeless art of storytelling.
