From Applause Entertainment’s growing slate of Docu-Series comes yet another poignant series ‘Red Hot Nation’, a powerful exploration of climate change and its far-reaching consequences. 2 episodes of the 5-part series will premiere at the Water Front Indie Film Festival (WIFF) on October 3rd.

Filmed across 14 states and featuring rare archival footage, Red Hot Nation raises urgent questions about the ecological challenges India faces, the roles played by communities, policymakers, NGOs, celebrities, and the private sector, and the sustainable solutions that can guide the way forward. Capturing first-hand accounts of people grappling with climate change in their everyday lives, the series places their stories at the heart of the narrative.
Narrated by Boman Irani, the series also brings together thought-provoking insights from leading experts and changemakers, including Dr. Arunabha Ghosh, Amitabh Kant, Sonam Wangchuk, Ridhima Pandey, Dr. Vandana Shiva, Sunita Narain, Pauline Laravoire, Rajendra Singh and others.
