Ashish Verma Talks About Penning a Song for Court Kacheri: It will heighten the emotions
Actor Ashish Verma is soaking in the positive reviews and responses of his latest web series, Court Kacheri. He also revealed whether he was involved in the writing process of the legal drama.

Talking about writing a song for the series, Ashish shared, “As a writer, I wrote a song for the show in episode 1 .” He added, “It heightens the emotions and also adds an element of quirk”
Ashish, who is also a writer, shared that he was not involved in the writing stage; however, he improvised a few lines during his performance. “I was not the writer. Of course, there are a few lines that you improvise, which happens as a part of the process,” he mentioned, and further stated that the script was “watertight in itself". As an actor who disappears into a character and lets the plot shine, he added, “As an actor, I try to stick to the script but also go beyond as much as the script or the situation allows.”

Talking about adding flair to the story beyond the script, Ashish said, “Our job is to break patterns and also bring an element of one’s own personality to the character. One also tries not to make the most obvious choice while performing a scene and tries to play it in a way that enhances it.”
Ashish Verma’s choice of scripts throws light on his inclination towards impactful cinema, cementing him as an actor who is substantial and not hungry for unnecessary drama. From Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Atrangi Re, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and the latest release, Court Kacheri, Ashish Verma is picking mindful screen pieces and is also stepping into the shoes of characters that bring out the ‘actor’ in him.
Be it playing a robotics engineer in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and infusing the plot with quirk and humour with his expressions, or adding weight to the narratives by playing pivotal roles as Rajat in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Harish in Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo and others, Ashish is creating an entirely different tangent that emphasises more on performance and the intent of leaving an impression. With each role, he adds flair to his growing filmography by keeping it unconventional and unpredictable each time.
Currently, the audiences are hungry to see meaty and layered characters that bring back the charm of entertainment, and going by Ashish’s upward graph, it’d be right to say that the directors can completely bet on him for good!
