Renowned directors Joe and Anthony Russo have opened up about the upcoming Marvel movies, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’ Speaking to Deadline at ‘The Electric State’ premiere, Joe Russo admitted that the movies would be tough for both audiences and filmmakers.

Filming Back-to-Back in London
Joe Russo revealed that both movies are being shot in London, almost back-to-back. He shared, “It’s a lot of work again. We may or may not survive, we’ll see.” Despite the challenge, the duo is excited about the story and its execution.
X-Men & Deadpool: Will They Appear?
When asked about possible X-Men or Deadpool appearances, Joe Russo avoided giving a clear answer. He playfully responded, “Who knows? I don’t know who we’re gonna see.” Anthony Russo added to the mystery, saying, “If you close your eyes and imagine, you can see anyone you want.”
Robert Downey Jr. Returns as a Villain
One of the biggest surprises is Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU, but this time as a villain. He will play Vincent Van Doom, also known as Dr. Doom, in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ set to release in 2026.
