Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda has made his debut on the big screen. His film 'Ikkis' has been released in theaters and is being well-received by the audience. Many are also praising Agastya's acting in 'Ikkis'. They saw glimpses of his uncle Abhishek Bachchan's younger days in the actor.

What did Agastya say about the Bachchan-Kapoor family legacy?

Agastya Nanda comes from two of Bollywood's most prestigious families. His mother Shweta Nanda is Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, and his father Nikhil Nanda is the grandson of legendary actor Raj Kapoor. It is often assumed that Agastya has to carry forward his grandfather Amitabh's legacy and also become the rising star of the new generation of the Kapoor family. But Agastya doesn't believe in either of these things.

Recently, Agastya Nanda was on IMDb's YouTube channel with his film 'Ikkis' director Sriram Raghavan and actress Simran Bhatia, where he was asked a question about his two families (Bachchan and Kapoor). The director asked the actor if he felt any pressure coming from two great families.

He doesn't feel any pressure to carry forward anyone's legacy

To this, Agastya said, "I don't feel any pressure at all because I know that it's not my responsibility. My surname is Nanda because I am primarily my father's son. I just think about making my father proud, and that's a huge responsibility for me. I respect the other members of my family who are actors very much; I love their films and their work. But I can never be like them." So there's no point in wasting time thinking about it.'

Summary

Agastya Nanda was born in 2000. His grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan, has spoken about his grandson many times. When Agastya made his debut with 'The Archies', Amitabh showered him with love. Now that Agastya's second film 'Ikkiis' has been released, Amitabh is extremely happy.
