Deepika Padukone Paid 7 Times Less Than Allu Arjun in Raaka? Report Sparks Buzz
Reports claim Deepika Padukone to earn ₹25 crore in Raaka, far below Allu Arjun’s ₹175 crore fee; makers yet to confirm figures.
Director Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka, starring Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone and Rashmika Mandanna, is drawing attention following reports about the lead actors’ remuneration.
According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Allu Arjun is said to be earning ₹175 crore for the project. He is reportedly playing multiple roles in the film, including that of a cop, a half-human half-monster, and a father.
Deepika Padukone is reportedly being paid ₹25 crore for her role, which is around seven times lower than Allu Arjun’s reported fee. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is said to be earning approximately ₹5 crore.
The reported figures have not been officially confirmed by the makers.
The film, reportedly mounted on a budget exceeding ₹700 crore, remains in production.
On the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers unveiled a first-look poster. The visual showed the actor with his face partially covered in fur along with a tusk-like detail, indicating an intense character.
The team shared the poster with the caption, "#AA22xA6 is now #Raaka Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits."
Apart from the lead cast, reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor may also feature in key roles.
Backed by Sun Pictures, the film is expected to begin its next schedule in Mumbai soon. Production is likely to continue through the year, with a tentative completion timeline set for late 2026.
