Diljit Dosanjh’s concert

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh wowed fans with his electrifying performance in Delhi, but for some, the concert experience was marred by poor management. A fan named Siddharth, who attended the concert on Saturday, shared his disappointment over the chaos, describing it as “absolute mismanagement” in a viral post on X.

High Expectations, Long Wait Times

Siddharth had paid Rs.15,000 for Gold Pit tickets but felt let down by the delays and lack of coordination. “The gates didn’t open until 5:30 PM, and the concert started at 8 PM,” he explained, mentioning there were no opening acts, only repeated Zomato and Kingfisher ads, which frustrated attendees who had to wait for hours.

Unhygienic Facilities and Medical Emergencies

Siddharth noted the poor state of the women’s washrooms, describing them as dark, unclean, and lacking essentials. He recounted a troubling incident where a girl fainted in the Gold Pit area due to the crowded conditions. “No staff were available to help her immediately,” he added, calling it a serious safety lapse.

F&B Chaos and Refund Issues

Only two food and beverage counters were set up for thousands of fans, leading to extremely long waits. “We had to stand in line three times – first for a card, then for a slip, and finally for our order,” he detailed. Matters worsened when drinks were served in glasses instead of bottles, causing additional delays. Eventually, tensions led to a fight between the crowd and management, which resulted in the beverage counters shutting down completely after 9 PM.

Concert-goers also had no way to get refunds for their pre-paid cards, leaving many feeling cheated. “Felt like a total rip-off,” Siddharth expressed.

Diljit Dosanjh 's Concert Overpriced Tickets with Limited Visibility

Siddharth concluded by mentioning that despite paying for premium tickets, he could barely see Diljit Dosanjh on stage. While he praised Diljit’s performance, he said the event was not worth the high ticket price due to the mismanagement and lack of basic facilities.
