Digvijay Rathee has been one of the contestants who really stood out on The 50. He won respect for how he played the game. He was known for being calm and clear-headed, and he rarely lost his cool, even when things got tense inside the palace. Many players used aggressive tactics and changed alliances, but Digvijay's strategy was simple: be honest, be steady, and play with respect for yourself. That is precisely why his elimination in the latest episode surprised many inside the palace as well as viewers watching the show.

The episode began with the much-awaited announcement of the exit result. When the votes were finally counted, Digvijay's name came up as the person who would leave the game. Several players were clearly shocked at that moment. Interestingly, Digvijay didn't get angry or upset. Instead, he looked calm and even laughed for a short time after hearing the news.

He went on to say that the result wasn't completely surprising to him. He had told Hamid Barkzi and Arushi Chawla about his doubts earlier in the game. Digvijay had predicted that some contestants might claim they were supporting him but could end up voting differently when the time actually came. The result, in many ways, proved his instinct right.

The elimination soon created friction among the players. Members of the alliance involving Prince Narula, Rajat Dalal and Faisal Shaikh were visibly taken aback. Soon after the announcement, discussions about the voting pattern started inside the palace.

Arushi questioned the situation and claimed that Prince had earlier assured Rajat that two votes would support Digvijay. Her remark led to confusion about how the numbers changed during the voting process. At the same time, Manisha Rani suggested that Rajat might not have voted for Digvijay, which strengthened the belief among some contestants that the alliance had not remained loyal.

The talk quickly turned into a fight. Manisha and Archana Gautam asked Rajat directly about the vote. But he denied the claims and said he hadn't changed his plan. While they were waiting, Arushi and Hamid talked to Faisu to find out more about what was going on. Faisu made it clear that he didn't know how many votes there were in the end. He also said that Rajat had hinted before that Digvijay might be the one to leave. Even though things were unclear and he might have been betrayed, Digvijay chose to leave the show feeling calm instead of angry.

Speaking about his elimination, Digvijay said, “Of course, I was unhappy to see my journey on The 50 come to an end, but at the same time, I feel proud of how I played the game. From day one, I promised myself that I would stand by my morals and values, no matter how difficult the situations became. If people remember me as someone who stayed honest, calm, and true to himself, then that means more to me than any trophy. I’m grateful for the love and support I received throughout this journey, and I walk out with my head held high.”

Digvijay Rathee's time on The 50 is over, but he will always be known as one of the few contestants who chose honesty over strategy. That alone makes his journey memorable for a lot of people.
