Santosh Singh first made waves with the critically acclaimed series Broken but Beautiful Season 1, starring Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi. The show received an overwhelming response from viewers, and Singh continues to receive fan letters and messages praising his work. Despite the show's success, he was not involved in the subsequent seasons. However, Singh embraces this as a common occurrence in the industry.

In a conversation with a leading publication, Santosh says, "Directing Broken but Beautiful Season 1 was an incredible experience. The love and appreciation I still receive from fans is heartwarming. Although I was offered to direct Season 2, it didn't work out due to date issues. But that's just how our industry operates. Interestingly, I ended up directing Apharan Season 2 even though I wasn't involved in Season 1. As directors, we often find ourselves on both spectrums, and you can't really complain about it."

He continues, "From my early days as an assistant, I realized that you are only as good as your last release. It's all about the quality of your work. This understanding has shaped how I approach my profession and career. I firmly believe that if your film and its promotions are good, you will succeed."

"I am just happy about the opportunities I have been receiving so far," he adds. "I am super excited for my upcoming comedy film Nausikhiye, starring Shreya Dhanwanthary, Abhimanyu Dassani, and Amol Parashar. It will be releasing in theatres soon, and I can't wait for the audience to watch it."

In addition to his upcoming film, Singh's recently released series Ranneeti: Balakot and Beyond, starring Jimmy Shergill and Lara Dutta, has been gaining a lot of praise from the audience. The series further cements his reputation as a versatile director capable of handling a wide range of genres.

As Singh continues to navigate the unpredictable waters of the entertainment industry, his positive outlook and dedication to his craft ensure that he remains a prominent figure in Indian cinema. With an impressive body of work and exciting projects on the horizon, Santosh Singh exemplifies the spirit of embracing change and thriving amidst uncertainty.
