Abundantia Entertainment, under the visionary leadership of Founder & CEO Vikram Malhotra, has solidified its position as a powerhouse of progressive, insight-driven storytelling. Focused on creating uniquely Indian narratives with a universal appeal, the studio continues to redefine content for Indian audiences.

After the critically acclaimed Sarfira in 2024, which marked Akshay Kumar’s milestone 150th film and won hearts for its inspiring story and stellar performances, Abundantia Entertainment is set to deliver a diverse and dynamic lineup in 2025.

Here's a sneak peek into their ambitious slate of projects:

1. Subedaar

Set in the Indian heartland, the powerful masala action-drama follows Subedaar Arjun Maurya, played by the dynamic Anil Kapoor, as he grapples with the challenges of leading a civilian life, navigates a strained relationship with his daughter, Shyama, played by the versatile Radhikka Madan, and confronts societal dysfunction. Once a soldier who fought for the nation, Subedaar must now battle enemies within to protect his home and family. Directed by Suresh Triveni (Jalsa, Tumhari Sulu) and produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni, this adrenaline-fueled action-drama is expected to release in theatres in 2025.

2. Chhorii 2

The sequel to the 2021 hit horror film, Chhorii, Chhorii 2 is set to raise the stakes of Indian horror. Nushrratt Bharuccha reprises her role as Sakshi, joined by Soha Ali Khan in the film directed by Vishal Furia (Chhorii, Criminal Justice). The story follows Sakshi who must rescue her seven-year-old daughter from being sacrificed by an evil cult, while fighting societal superstitions and the horror that continues to haunt her and young women around her.

3. Daldal

A Prime Video original series starring Bhumi Pednekar as Mumbai’s newly-appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rita Ferreira. Haunted by the guilt of her past and dealing with the demons of her present, Ferriera must embark on an investigation that puts her on a collision course with Anita, a cold-blooded killer, even as she has to save her own life from falling apart. It is directed by Amrit Raj Gupta (Gullak, Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper), with Suresh Triveni as the showrunner (Jalsa, Tumhari Sulu) and produced by Abundantia Entertainment.

4. Laal

Directed by Jai Mehta (Scam 1992, Lootere), Laal is a thrilling and engaging story of true crime that is set in the backdrop of middle India and deals with the re-telling of the story of one of the most challenging crimes ever dealt with by the Indian investigative agencies.

5. Business Drama Series by Hansal Mehta

National award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta (Scam 1992, Scoop) joins forces with Abundantia Entertainment to delve into the world of high-stakes business in this untitled series. Known for his nuanced narratives, Mehta’s latest venture promises to be both thought-provoking and thrilling.

6. Untitled Crime Drama Series by Randeep Jha

From the acclaimed director of Kohrra and Trial by Fire, this Abundantia Entertainment series explores dark and compelling themes, further establishing Randeep Jha's reputation for impactful storytelling.

7. Untitled Thriller Film by Mayank Sharma

Mayank Sharma, known for his work on the Breathe series, takes on a high-stakes thriller produced by Abundantia Entertainment, blending edge-of-the-seat tension with intricate character narratives.

8. Untitled Drama Film by Bhav Dhulia
