Guru Randhawa injured, while shooting action scene, admitted to hospital

Punjabi singer and actor Guru Randhawa got badly injured while shooting an action scene for his upcoming film.

Punjabi singer-actor Guru Randhawa got injured while performing a stunt. Due to this he has been admitted to the hospital. Guru was shooting for his upcoming film Shaunki Sardar. He has shared a post on his social media but there is not much update about it right now.

Sharing the picture, Randhawa wrote, "My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirits are intact. A memory from the set of Shaunki Sardar film. It is very difficult work to do action, but I will work hard for my audience." The photo shows the singer lying on a hospital bed with a cervical collar.

Celebs, fans wish him a speedy recovery

Reacting to the post, actress Mrunal Thakur said

"Kya Baat Hai". Anupam Kher commented, "You are the best. Get well soon." Meanwhile, singer Mika Singh wrote, "Get well soon". Fans also wrote messages wishing him a speedy recovery and expressed concern. One of his fans wrote, "Get well soon. We love you!" A fan asked,

"How did you get injured so badly? ". One comment read, "Some people call you "stuntman", why did you do stunts? Can't you use a stunt double?

What is Shaunki Sardar

Shaunki Sardar is being promoted as a "story of love and cultural pride". It is being produced by Guru's banner, 751 Films. Dheeraj Rattan is directing the project which also stars TV actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia.

Summary

After completing the first schedule of shooting in November, the actress had shared, "This film has been a dream project for me and working with such a wonderful team has been inspiring. Guru and I had a great time shooting and I am excited about the next schedule in Melbourne. It's a beautiful city." The film will hit the screens on May 16 this year.
