Advance Booking Opens Strong

According to Sacnilk, the film clocked over Rs.20 crore in India and Rs.10 crore overseas just hours before release. Final estimates suggest Rs.30 crore gross in India and Rs.16 crore internationally, including a strong Rs.4.5 crore from North America alone. With nearly Rs.50 crore in advance bookings, the stage is set for a potentially massive opening.

Day One Predictions Hint at Record Potential

Despite mixed buzz in non-Telugu regions, trade experts predict a domestic opening of Rs.40–50 crore for HHVM. If these numbers hold, it would surpass Vakeel Saab’s Rs.40.50 crore, becoming Kalyan’s biggest opener yet. With expected overseas earnings around Rs.25 crore, Hari Hara Veera Mallu could post a day-one total of Rs.70–80 crore globally.

Is a ₹75 Crore Start Enough for a ₹300 Crore Film?

Though impressive, a Rs.70–80 crore opening may not suffice. The film reportedly needs Rs.225 crore globally to break even, as per the distribution rights sold for over Rs.100 crore. Cautionary tales like Game Changer—which opened at ₹80 crore but fizzled out at Rs.186 crore—serve as a reminder. For HHVM, sustained momentum and strong word of mouth are essential.
