Sandeep Reddy Vanga on His Writing Process
During the conversation, Komal Nahta asked Vanga about his writing style, mentioning that he prefers to write alone. To this, Vanga replied, "No, sir, I don't have any specific process. I wrote Animal during the pandemic, in complete chaos. I don’t go to a quiet place to write because I am not a professional writer. If someone gives me a few scenes and asks me to create a story, I can’t do it. I can only write what I want to make."
He further added that even if he was offered a huge sum of money, he wouldn’t be able to write a script just for the sake of it. According to him, his scripts are highly detailed and not designed to impress readers. Instead of thinking, "What a great story!", readers often wonder, "Why does he write so much?"
