In a latest awareness initiative, Jackie Shroff has stepped in once again in his role as a Brand Ambassador for a bold, nationwide movement to eliminate Thalassemia from India by 2035. Jackie Shroff, who has always supported this cause as a brand ambassador, graced the event and added momentum to the healthcare movement that united medical professionals, policymakers, NGOs, patient advocacy groups, and the known community to tackle Thalassemia at its roots.

Addressing the gathering, Jackie Shroff said, “Ending Thalassemia is not just a medical goal - it’s a moral imperative. India sees over 10,000 to 15,000 new cases of Thalassemia major every year. This is a silent crisis that continues to affect countless families, especially in underserved regions. Early screening and awareness can prevent a lifetime of suffering for so many children. I fully support Fortis Healthcare in this Mission 2035 initiative, which will help create a healthier future for generations to come. Together, we must spread the message far and wide, because prevention begins with awareness.”

For the unversed, Thalassemia is a preventable genetic blood disorder. Every year, over 10,000 to 15,000 children are born with it in India. The recently launched mission 2035 aims to change this reality by raising awareness, promoting early screening and genetic counselling, improving access to treatment, and advocating for policy-level reforms to prevent new cases.

Over the years, Jackie Shroff has extended full support in creating a healthier future. He has actively advocated for improving environmental conditions and expressing concern over rising problems. After stepping in as a brand ambassador for a health cause, Jackie Shroff extends full support towards healthcare, aiming for a healthier tomorrow.
