Indira Bhaduri’s Health Update
Jaya Bachchan’s mother, Indira, is currently in the hospital due to a spinal issue, but her condition is stable. In a conversation with Aaj Tak, her caretaker shared, "She is doing fine. Just had khichdi for lunch." This confirmation has put an end to the misleading reports that had spread panic among fans.
Fans Shocked by False Reports
When the false news of Indira Bhaduri’s death went viral, fans were concerned, with some reports even suggesting that Abhishek Bachchan had rushed to Bhopal to be with his family. The caretaker clarified that while Indira is in the hospital, there is no cause for alarm.

Indira Bhaduri lives alone in Bhopal's Ansal Apartment, located in Shyamala Hills. After the passing of her husband, Tarun Bhaduri, a journalist and writer, in 1996, she chose to continue living in Bhopal. Despite her health concerns, she frequently visits her daughter Jaya at the Bachchans’ home in Mumbai.

Indira Bhaduri and Tarun Bhaduri had three daughters—Jaya, Rita, and Neeta. While Jaya Bachchan became a celebrated actress, her sisters preferred to stay out of the limelight.
