After Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company unveiled a compelling poster of Raja Shivaji, they have now fueled excitement by teasing audiences with a power-packed BTS video of the film’s RAJA SHIVAJI ANTHEM “CHHATRAPATI”, by the celebrated duo Ajay-Atul. Helmed by Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh who also serves as the writer, producer, and lead actor portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the BTS video of the anthem highlights the musical world-building of the historical epic film.

Featuring Ajay-Atul and the team, the stirring glimpse of the thumping anthem carries a powerful, soaring soundscape crafted for an extravagant big-screen experience, and it promises to elevate the film’s grandiosity several notches. The main chorus has already been dropped and it is being grooved upon by the audience, suggesting that it has made a solid impression.

Composed and sung by Ajay–Atul, RAJA SHIVAJI ANTHEM “CHHATRAPATI” is slated for a release on 13th April.

Raja Shivaji brings together a formidable ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Boman Irani, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amol Gupte, Genelia Deshmukh, and Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Presented by Jio Studios, Raja Shivaji, a Mumbai Film Company production, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia Deshmukh. Raja Shivaji, a historical epic based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is set to release in cinemas worldwide on 1 May 2026 in Marathi, and Hindi bringing to life an epic that celebrates India’s history with scale, soul, and spectacle.
