The makers of the highly awaited movie 'Kalki 2898 AD,' starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, have revealed a revised release date.

Prabhas, taking to Instagram, delighted fans by sharing his first look poster alongside the updated release information.

Originally slated for release on January 12, the film will now grace the silver screen on May 9.

In a unique promotional move, the creators orchestrated an elaborate release date announcement for 'Kalki 2898 AD,' featuring simultaneous events in various cities across India, including Varanasi, Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Chennai, Madurai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Bhimavaram, Kashmir, and Vijayawada. The event saw the participants marching together, creating anticipation, and unveiling the release date scroll in a distinctive and thrilling manner.

The movie, which also stars Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in significant roles, received commendation from Vyjayanthi Movies Founder and Producer C. Ashwini Dutt. He expressed, "As Vyjayanthi Movies marks its 50th year, the significance of May 9th in our cinematic journey remains evident."
