Kannada Actor Rakesh Poojary Dies of Suspected Heart Attack at Function
Rakesh Poojary, known for winning Kannada show Comedy Khiladigalu, passed away suddenly after collapsing at a function. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. A suspected heart attack is believed to be the cause.

Rakesh Poojary, a well-known Kannada actor and winner of the reality show Comedy Khiladigalu, passed away suddenly on Monday. He collapsed while attending a mehendi function at his friend’s home in Miyar, near Udupi.

Rakesh Poojary, who was from Tonse in Malpe, fell down while talking to his friends at the event. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. It is believed that he died due to a heart attack.
He rose to fame after winning Comedy Khiladigalu Season 2 in 2018 and later Rakesh Poojary acted in several Kannada and Tulu movies. He was also part of the runner-up team in the show.
According to Karkala Town Police, an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
