Why Did Kelly Brook Leave the Show?
The discussion started with why some people leave theatre performances early, especially after Wicked received 10 Oscar nominations, prompting some to skip the West End version for a fresh cinema experience. Amidst this, Kelly made a confession of her own.
"I have to admit something," Kelly began. "I love theatre, I’ve watched so many West End shows, but I need to apologise to Emma Bunton. She invited me to her Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall."
She explained that she had a six-month-old puppy at home and started worrying that it might destroy her house. "About half an hour into the show, I got really anxious. I couldn’t focus. It wasn’t about Emma—she was amazing!"
Slipping Out Quietly
Judi Love was shocked and asked, "Your mind was somewhere else?" Kelly nodded, confirming that she just couldn’t relax.
Charlene White then asked how long she stayed, to which Kelly admitted, "Maybe three songs." She and her husband quietly left, pretending to go to the bar.
"We went home, and the puppy was completely fine. It was all in my head! Now, I can’t watch any show if I have a dog at home," she added.
A Public Apology to Emma Bunton
Charlene encouraged Kelly to apologize, and she turned to the camera, saying, "Emma, I would love to come back to your show if you invite me again. I know it was terrible, but my puppy was only six months old!"
A Touching Moment on the Show
Later in the episode, the conversation shifted to personal losses. The panelists shared emotional stories about bereavement, with Charlene White recalling the loss of her best friend and Judi Love speaking about her late mother. Kelly also got emotional while remembering her father’s passing.
