Babil Khan’s Tech Thriller Will Keep You Hooked

Logout Review: Babil Khan stars as Pratyush, a young social media star who lives alone in a big city. He’s popular for creating funny and bizarre videos where he plays both male and female characters. Just before hitting 10 million followers, his phone gets stolen, and that’s when his nightmare begins.

Danger of One Click

After a blackout, Pratyush is contacted by a girl through his computer. She seems helpful at first but becomes creepy and controlling. In his desperation to get his data back, he shares a one-time password (OTP) with her—and suddenly, he loses control over his life.

Look at Data Privacy and Online Traps

Directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar, the film focuses on how easily people can be trapped online. The movie uses some strong symbols like a mouse caught in a trap, showing how careless we are with our data.

Not Just a Screenlife Film

While some parts of the movie feel like a screenlife thriller (where everything happens on screens), the camera moves around more than usual. The editing is smart, and there are a few clever scenes—like Pratyush having to remember a phone number and use a landline.

Babil Khan Stands Out

Babil gives a strong performance. He easily shows fear, anger, and helplessness. His dialogue delivery, especially emotional ones, feels natural and powerful. One line—"I know I am an asshole, but I am not the kind of asshole who will ever hurt you"—shows his ability to mix intensity and honesty.

The Ending: Shocking and Strange

The film’s final scenes go a bit over the top and may feel unrealistic. But it matches the overall theme of the film: in today’s world, being noticed is everything, even if it means losing your peace and privacy.
