Mahakumbh Viral Girl Monalisa Marries Farman Khan In Kerala After Defying Family
Mahakumbh viral girl Monalisa marries Farman Khan in Kerala after defying her family. The couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony and later at a temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
Monalisa, who gained attention during Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, has married Farman Khan after reportedly going against her family’s wishes.
According to reports, Monalisa travelled to Kerala and completed a civil marriage before the couple performed Hindu wedding rituals at the Arumanoor Nainar Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. After the ceremony, she was seen wearing sindoor.
Monalisa had earlier said she did not want to get married. In a previous interaction, she had stated that she would not leave her parents.
"My parents say no. I also say no. I don't want to get married. Even before I went viral, my parents had said I would only get married when you say yes." I also told them, "I will never say yes. I will never get married. Who would leave my parents?"
The statement had surfaced when Monalisa was beginning her career and had gone viral on social media.
Monalisa earlier sold Rudraksha beads at the Maha Kumbh Mela before entering the entertainment industry. She later appeared in a video with singer Utkarsh Singh.
Her upcoming film The Manipur Diary is scheduled for release in April 2026. The film is directed by Sanoj Mishra.
Mishra, who trained Monalisa during the early stage of her career, reacted strongly to the development. He alleged that Monalisa had been influenced and claimed that she was a victim of "love jihad" and had been misled by her manager.
Monalisa has also reportedly sought protection from the Kerala Police following the marriage.
