Martin Scorsese Joins Ishaan Khatter’s Homebound Before Cannes 2025 Premiere

Cannes 2025: Ishaan Khatter’s next big project, Homebound, has just earned a major global boost — legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese has joined the film as Executive Producer. Directed by National Award-winner Neeraj Ghaywan, Homebound is set to make its world premiere in the prestigious Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

Starring Ishaan alongside Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor, Homebound marks a significant moment in Ishaan’s career. Adding to the momentum, Ishaan’s series The Royals is set to release on May 9, just days before his Cannes appearance.

While The Royals presents Ishaan in a sleek, sophisticated avatar, Homebound will showcase a more raw and restrained side of the actor, reflecting his growing versatility and depth.
