Missed Azaad in Theatres? Here’s When You Can Watch It on OTT
After its theatrical release in January 2025, Azaad is now heading to OTT. Streaming giant Netflix has officially announced that the film will be available for streaming from March 14. The announcement was made on Instagram, along with a poster and a caption highlighting the movie’s themes of bravery and loyalty.

About Azaad: Cast & Storyline
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is an action-packed drama featuring Aaman Devgan, Rasha Thadani, Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra, and Mohit Malik. The movie follows a young stable boy (played by Aaman Devgan) who bonds with a fearless black horse named Azaad. Inspired by his experiences, he joins India's freedom struggle in the 1920s.
Box Office Performance
Despite its star-studded cast and high expectations, Azaad struggled at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs.80 crore, the film could only collect Rs.10 crore worldwide, receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.
While Azaad didn’t perform well in theatres, its OTT release gives it a second chance to reach a wider audience. If you love historical action-adventure films, don’t miss it on Netflix from March 14.
