Nitanshi Goel Wins Best Actress at IIFA 2025, Beating Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif

In a historic win at the prestigious IIFA Awards 2025, Nitanshi Goel, a young and talented actress, took home the Best Actress trophy for her role as Phool Kumari in Laapataa Ladies. She outperformed Bollywood's biggest stars, including Alia Bhatt (Jigra), Katrina Kaif (Merry Christmas), Yami Gautam (Article 370), and Shraddha Kapoor (Stree 2).

Veteran actors Boman Irani and Bobby Deol presented the award, and Nitanshi looked stunning in a ruby-red gown. However, what truly captured hearts was her heartfelt speech. Overcome with emotions, she broke down in tears while thanking her film’s team and her family.

Nitanshi Goel on Her Emotional Speech

Speaking about the emotional moment, Nitanshi shared, "I couldn't stop crying. Winning this award is a dream come true, and I still can't believe it has happened. I am truly grateful."

She further added that the first thing she did after winning was hug her mother and Kiran Rao, the director of Laapataa Ladies.

Excited for Future Projects

Nitanshi is now looking forward to working with more stars. When asked about her dream co-stars, she said, "Shah Rukh sir tops the list, followed by Kartik Aaryan. It would be amazing to work with them."
