No Cuts in 'Phule', Only Minor Changes: Director Ananth Mahadevan
Director Ananth Mahadevan has clarified that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has not asked for any cuts in the film 'Phule'. He explained that the board only suggested a few minor changes and praised the film as educational and fit for young viewers.

'Phule' Release Postponed to April 25 Due to Objections
Phule was supposed to release this Friday, but now it will hit theatres on April 25. The delay happened because a part of the Brahmin community misunderstood the trailer and raised objections. Mahadevan said the team decided to wait so that the message of the film doesn’t get lost in controversy.
Team Chooses Peaceful Release Over Conflict
To avoid any conflict, the film’s team chose to postpone the release. Mahadevan said they want people to come together and watch the movie in peace. They are also working with the media to clear up any confusion about the film’s message.

The Film is a biographical film about the lives of social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. It stars Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa in lead roles. The movie highlights their efforts to fight against caste and gender inequality in 19th-century India.
